The GOL Program will give people who meet the requirements the opportunity to take a complete 100-hour course that will allow them to obtain a diploma recognized by both our academy and the region, equivalent to an EQF4.

The acronym EQF, European Qualification Framework, translates the qualifications and levels achieved and reported by the certificate itself in a unique way across the various European systems, promoting the ‘marketability’ of the qualification.

Free professional makeup course for unemployed people

Course objectives

The VOR Make-Up Course is a 100-hour professional make-up course spread over 12 full days plus a half-day exam/shooting with professional models.

Designed to train competent and skilled professional MAKE-UP ARTISTS who can offer professional beauty make-up advice.

The VOR Make-up course, held at the Milan campus, awards a Certificate of Competence recognized by the region and equivalent to an EQF4 for each step.

The acronym EQF, European Qualification Framework, translates the qualifications and levels achieved and reported by the certificate itself in a unique way across the various European systems, promoting the “marketability” of the title.

The VOR Academy consists of 5 courses:

Basic 1; 3 days

Basic 2; 3 days

Beauty; 3 days

Wedding; 2 days

Fashion. 1 day

Duration: 12 lessons of 8 hours, 96 hours + 4 hours exam = 100 hours

PROGRAM

VOR Academy Basic Course Part 1

DURATION: 3 days from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1-hour lunch break and 2 breaks in the morning and afternoon)

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

THEORY

History of makeup; the workstation and the relationship with the client; tools and products. Light and shadow, color theory, natural and artificial light; face shapes and corrections. Eyebrows, study, cleaning, correction, and hair removal.


PRACTICAL

Applying foundation: various techniques depending on skin type and the job at hand (fashion, television, film, and theatre); foundation and neutralizers: how to choose them based on skin color.
Contouring.

VOR Academy Basic Course Part 2

DURATION: 3 days from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1-hour lunch break and 2 breaks in the morning and afternoon)

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

THEORY

Study of various eye shapes

Nose, mouth, and chin correction

The makeup chart.

Makeup for different ethnicities.

PRACTICAL

Daytime makeup

Evening makeup

Application of full and individual eyelashes

 

VOR Academy Photographic Beauty Course

DURATION: 3 days, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1-hour lunch break and 2 breaks in the morning and afternoon)

TEACHING PROGRAM

THEORY

The birth of photography, a theoretical journey to discover a tool that changed the way we capture reality.
Lighting, the importance of lights, how they differentiate the final effect of makeup.
Warm colours, cool colours, and their results in photography.

Figures and roles, how to collaborate on the construction of a photographic project. Research and personal reinterpretation.

PRACTICAL

  • Knowledge and use of various makeup tools and products.

  • Camouflage techniques.

  • Chiaroscuro for correcting the face while avoiding the heavy film and television effect.

  • Correction of skin discoloration, acne, and scars, distinguishing between photographic beauty for the set and beauty for a private client.

  • Corrections to face shape, eyes, lips, nose, etc.

  • Various types of beauty: glossy, matte, shimmer, wet look

  • Application of false eyelashes

  • Preparation and completion of makeup chart

 

VOR Academy Wedding Course

DURATION: 2 days, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1-hour lunch break and 2 breaks in the morning and afternoon)

 

TEACHING PROGRAM

THEORY

The various types of light (natural and artificial) and their influence on bridal makeup. Seasonal lighting and bridal makeup. Daylight and afternoon lighting in bridal makeup.

The psychological approach with the client and analysis of psychological components.

Definition of “bridal makeup” in the current era.

Practical, stylistic, and technical aspects to consider (dress, hair, makeup, ceremony style).

Variables involved in the design of bridal makeup.

The day of the trial, the day of the wedding, what to know and how to behave.

Makeup in photography: the various types of photographic lighting, how to choose the best location for the bride's preparation, what to consider and what to avoid. Choice and application of foundation, identification of complementary and non-complementary colors. Light and shade in photographic makeup, black and white photography, solar and lunar colors and their results in photography.

Basic rules and mistakes to avoid, the tax receipt to prepare.

PRACTICAL

·      Choice of products and fixing, makeup for women in tune with their psychological aspects.

·      The makeup sheet.

·      Bridal makeup Day/evening bridal makeup Corrective makeup and second weddings, over 40

·      The glamour bride in photography.

·      Different styles and personalization of the look

·      The ethnic bride, the summer bride (limitations and tricks on tanned skin).

·      Makeup for the groom (grooming) and relatives (differences)

·      Cosmetic and lifting treatments to prepare the bride's face

·      False eyelashes

·      Secrets for fixing makeup.

Practical exercise on your own model, putting into practice all the concepts learned, taking into account photographic exposure, somatic corrections and color scheme, style and character of the future bride.

 

VOR Academy Fashion Course

DURATION: 1 day from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (1-hour lunch break and 2 breaks in the morning and afternoon)

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

THEORY

In the morning, the teacher will introduce students to the world of fashion makeup, explaining terms, gestures, timing, and equipment in the various nuances of fashion backstage.

PRACTICAL

In the afternoon, after learning about the world of fashion and based on the mood board created by Valeria, students will carry out their practical work.

EXAM

DURATION: 4 HOURS 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Certificates and Final Diploma

Requirements and fees for participation

All unemployed persons residing and/or domiciled in Lombardy, regardless of gender, age, and duration of unemployment, including beneficiaries of social safety nets or those who are employed but have an income of less than €8,500 per year, are considered unemployed and can register for free.

Requirements:

Registration for the GOL call for applications of the Lombardy Region, which finances the project, and a personal SPID.

How to register: you need to make an appointment at an Employment Center (CPI) and say that you want to participate in the GOL call for applications and that you need:

  • DID (Declaration of Immediate Availability)

  • PSP GOL (Personalized Service Agreement)

  • ASSESSMENT (Profiling)

  • IMPORTANT: Please note that the grant will be activated by Insieme scs, which will make an appointment with you (online).

Make an appointment at the Employment Center and register for the course as soon as possible.

1. Essential requirements for participating in the course: registration for the GOL call for applications of the Lombardy Region, which finances the project:

1 Be unemployed

2 Be a resident or domiciled in the Lombardy region

2 Have a personal SPID.

3 You must make an appointment at an Employment Center (CPI) and say that you want to participate in the GOL program.

2.  After submitting your application to your CPI, you must confirm by email to lucreziamarchiol@ticonzero.it and report that the grant will be activated by Insieme SCS.
